On-site Tree Risk Assessment

Trees are beautiful but they can also be dangerous. The best way to get peace of mind is to have an ISA Certified Arborist come out to your property and provide you with a Tree Risk Assessment. Our arborists will give you an unbiased opinion of the risk imposed by a tree on your property. There are many things that our trained arborists are going to examine while assessing the risk that your tree may pose. The first thing an arborist will take note of is the presence of a “target” that the tree could potentially cause damage to if it were to fail. The next thing the arborist will take note of is the overall health of the tree. Are there any large dead limbs, cracks, splits, or cavities within the tree? Is the tree leaning? What type of lean is it? Is the soil cracking or lifting around the base of the tree? Are there any mushrooms or decay present in the trunk or the root zone. Has there been any recent soil disturbance? These are some of the questions that an arborist will ask himself as he assesses the risk that a tree may impose on your property.

Please note that we cannot provide this service on a neighbors tree. We cannot provide an adequate assessment of the risk that a particular tree poses without unrestricted, 360-degree access to the tree.
